For most of us, the festive season is a time of joy. But there are children in the UK who face a Christmas without food, warmth or love.
In the past decade, life for many vulnerable children has reached breaking point. More families are struggling to afford the basics (4.1 million children now live in poverty) and to get support when times get tough. We run more than 476 services and help 387,000 children every year, and we see children who are hurting – day in, day out.
We believe every child should have a safe and happy childhood. But we need your help. That’s why we’re asking you to become a Secret Santa for a vulnerable child this Christmas. Watch Lissie’s story below to see the difference you can make – or sign up to become a Secret Santa now.
